Dear Men,

do you fall for those heels or fall out of the heels?!

What if men were asked, which style of high heel would you prefer to wear?

this may not be new, but do we all know, wearing a heel is a symbol of masculinity! and high heels was invented to be worn by men?

As usual history surprises with mystery the original statement shoe, high heels revolution!

Antiquity

The footwear that was worn by Persian Soldiers to keep their feet stay in their stirrups and to have the stability they needed to shoot their bows and arrows.

Not only the red heel of a women, King Louis XIV was also frequently painted wearing red heels during his supremacy.

This “Persia-mania” fashioned in Russia, Germany and Spain during 17 century. Owning a horse was considered as a symbol of wealth, wherein wearing an elevated footwear signified money and power.

By end of 18th century, the fashion ended favoring men and began to be associated with women.

High heels was began to be worn during 3500BCE where it was a fashion in Egypt, Middle East, Padukas in India, Italy, France, Greece, Japan and Lebanon.

During 16th century Catherine de Medici at the age of 14, wore high heels as a fashion statement for her wedding ceremony to increase her personal height.

Stiletto – secret edged weapon in the middle ages

An Italian word stil’letto, is a stabbing weapon – a knife or dagger with a long slender blade which has needle-like point. According to Cambridge dictionary the plural word ‘stilettos’ represents a footwear with long thin high heel.

Ladies and gentlemen, now we got to know each other, lets’ jump in to the trend here…

Baby Boomers

There is no gain without pain! weather we express it or not, we all want to look sexy! but wearing a stiletto for a whole long day is not practically possible and still want to carry that look with out any expression on the face?! AWE my toes!

Ladies who are baby boomers (generation between 1946 and 1964) had a choice to chose a fashion that fits their need which was and is called ‘kitten heel’. This was the time where the brands Anne Klein, Jessica Simpson introduced this fashion and were at the top favorite lists of women those days.

Women in 1960s

Baby Bust

Baby bust (or Generation X after 1965) the rise of one size fit of all fashion segments in both luxury and niche markets started booming. Clarks, Naturalizer, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton become a trend to introduce head to toe fashion those days.

Millennials and Gen Z

All I would call is a trend by the Millennial ladies to wear a flat foot wear while in the public transport and as you enter the corporate atmosphere, you see a make over to their legs

While Gen Z still prefer to match their jeans with casual sneaker to work, yet stylish!

Future Fashion

Welcome to the high-heel revolution, the wonder wear that every woman wants, ‘convertible high heels’! Pashion in July 2020, the company had launched a new fashion heels with an option to change to flats in seconds.

Whatever you wear it still goes with how confident you feel and carry in that. Still wearing a heel has its own elegance and intricacy.
